Jared Wee is a Malaysian writer and filmmaker based in Kuala Lumpur. He is a senior writer for Lifestyle Asia KL. He was a former journalist for The Malay Mail and The Star.

He studied Digital Film Production at Sunway University in 2019, graduating with First Class Honours in 2022. During this time, he wrote and directed two short films: MATA (2020) and Welcome Home (2022). In 2024, he released a comedic short film After No (2024).

He has completed a master's degree in Visual Communications at Sunway University.
